FROM VOXELS TO VOLUME: MEASURING 3D SPACE

A project on the technical applications of basic Calculus in 3D design, submitted to the Honors Program advisors at Wake Technical Community College in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the completion of the Honors Program in the Spring of 2025. This project explores how voxel-based systems can be used to approximate three-dimensional volume in individual units, highlighting the connection between mathematical theory and 3D modeling.

SHINING A LIGHT ON 3D RENDERING: THE FAST INVERSE SQUARE ROOT AND NEWTON'S METHOD IN ACTION

A project on the technical applications of basic Calculus in 3D design, submitted to the Honors Program advisors at Wake Technical Community College in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the completion of the Honors Program in the Fall of 2024. This project explores how Newton’s Method and bit hacking are algorithmically implemented, and how the Fast Inverse Square Root algorithm applies to 3D rendering for creating natural lighting effects in early rendering environments.

NASA L'SPACE PROPOSAL WRITING AND EVALUATION EXPERIENCE ACADEMY

Serving as Computer Scientist on a diverse team, learning the critical aspects of writing and reviewing NASA proposals, collaborating with my team to develop a competitive proposal, and gaining insights into NASA proposal structures. While I cannot directly share these files, I am glad to privately discuss the research and writings with anyone who is interested.

NASA COMMUNITY COLLEGE AEROSPACE SCHOLARS: MISSION II

As Project Manager, I led a team of students through a week-long engineering challenge focused on lunar mission planning. The program culminated in a final live presentation to NASA staff, where we delivered a polished proposal under time constraints. While I cannot directly share these files, I am glad to privately discuss the research and writings with anyone who is interested.

NASA COMMUNITY COLLEGE AEROSPACE SCHOLARS: MISSION I

During Mission I, a five-week online orientation to NASA’s work and missions, I engaged in live and recorded lectures from NASA subject matter experts, completed interactive multimedia assignments, collaborated with fellow aerospace scholars, and produced a final project summarizing NASA’s goals and how I envisioned contributing to them. This Mission culminated in an infographic highlighting the Gateway Space Station, an international effort to establish the first space station beyond low-Earth orbit.

NASA L'SPACE MISSION CONCEPT ACADEMY

As Project Manager, I oversaw the development and writing of four major technical deliverables: the Mission Design Review, System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, and Mission Concept Review. While I cannot directly share these files, I am glad to privately discuss the research and writings with anyone who is interested.
