Olive Branch Exploration Corporation
As part of the brand identity for Olive Branch Exploration Corporation, , I designed a logo that reflects the organization’s mission of developing autonomous systems for extreme environments. The visual direction emphasizes human innovation and adaptability, aligning with the company’s focus on advanced solutions.
This project demonstrates my ability to translate complex concepts into a cohesive visual identity. It highlights my skills in branding, typography, and vector design, as well as my ability to create marks that communicate both technical credibility and vision.
The OBEC Logo was a project that applied my skills in graphic design, branding, and digital illustration. Beginning with traditional concepting, I explored multiple visual directions through digital sketching to establish a meaningful foundation for the brand. Using Adobe Illustrator, I developed the selected concept into a clean vector design, focusing on clarity and scalability across different use cases. Looking ahead, I plan to refine the logo’s color scheme to include both a five-color and full-color version for use across print and digital platforms.
Logo Concepting
During the concept phase for the OBEC logo, I explored multiple visual directions through digital sketching to determine a mark that could reflect the company’s focus. I experimented with various abstract and literal motifs to convey technical precision and autonomy. Through this process, stakeholders landed on a design that balances scientific adaptability with peace and continuing life. This helped create a logo that communicates the company’s mission brand identity in a clear way.
Looking Ahead…
Future work will focus on adapting the design for use across digital platforms and media. This includes creating five-color and full-color rough versions suitable for small-scale applications such as social media profile images, favicons, and printed media. This stage will emphasize accessibility, ensuring the brand remains clear across a variety of media and screen sizes.
