game cosmetics

DECENTRALAND

In addition to my other projects, I independently designed and created game cosmetics for Decentraland including skins and other equipable gear. These wearables were developed and sold independently in-game, without any direct affiliation or employment with the Decentraland Foundation.

My work on these items showcases my ability to create engaging and unique digital assets that resonate with a diverse online community. Through these projects, I demonstrated my skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and the integration of wearables within a decentralized platform.

I created these assets using Blender, following a streamlined approach to meet the game’s asset publishing guidelines. I modeled the meshes to ensure a clean, low-polygon structure within the regulated count. The mesh was parented to a provided rig and carefully adjusted to prevent pinching or distortion during movement, following compatibility requirements. This process combined technical precision and creative execution, delivering playful, game-ready assets.

Donut Halo

An eye-catching halo shaped like a delicious donut, adding a playful touch to any avatar. Simply a donut textured with pink icing and sprinkles weighted over the head, this unique accessory was favored among users for its interesting design.

Using Premiere Pro, I created a 10-second promotional video for the release of my Stick Man and Stick Woman Skins. The video highlights the playful aesthetic of the skins while capturing viewer attention for social media engagement.

Pumpkin Head Wearable

The Pumpkin Head wearable is another playful accessory I designed to bring the spirit of Halloween to life in the virtual world. This piece features a meticulously crafted pumpkin with a “carved”, glowing face, highlighting traditional Halloween aesthetics. The vibrant orange hue and intricate detailing capture the essence of fall and spooky celebrations.

“Outchya Mouth”

In an effort to promote community healing and charity within the Decentraland space, I designed a special wearable. Created in response to a conflict between two prominent streamers, this wearable was given to one streamer with the proceeds to be shared with another.

This initiative not only prompted the streamers to open a dialogue, but also demonstrated the power of creative solutions in fostering community goodwill. The wearable served as a symbol of reconciliation and the importance of addressing conflicts constructively, showcasing my commitment to using digital art for positive social impact.

Remember to wear your heart on your sleeve.
